During one of our meetings (2014–2015), while discussing ‘‘The Treasures of Kampos’’ and the historic mansion of her family in Kampos, known as the Sourediko, Anna Soure shared valuable memories and testimonies about her family and its history.
Anna Soure was a charismatic and sensitive person. She always welcomed me with a warm smile and was willing to share everything she knew about her family and its legacy. She even allowed me to record her testimony so that her voice and memories would be preserved for posterity.
She was pleased to contribute her recollections, which I later included in my book, ‘‘The Treasures of Kampos’’, published in 2017.
