A commemorative photograph with the esteemed Ioannis Vingas of the Karalis–Rodokanakis family during our meeting regarding my book, ‘‘The Treasures of Kampos’’ and the history of his family.

Although he was born and raised in France, he has never forgotten his roots or the homeland of his ancestors. With a deep appreciation for history and the cultural heritage of Kampos, he remains committed to preserving the memory and traditions of one of the most historic regions of Chios.

It was a great pleasure for me to meet him personally, discuss his family history, and exchange views on both the past and the future of the historic mansions of Kampos.

I was delighted that he acquired a copy of my book, The Treasures of Kampos, in which I had the honor of writing a personal dedication as a mark of appreciation for his interest in the history, architecture, and cultural heritage of Kampos.
