“The Treasures of Kampos” at the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople

Evangelos N. Kotatis

I had the honour of donating my book “The Treasures of Kampos” to the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

This work is the result of a long research journey into the architectural and cultural heritage of the Kampos of Chios — a place deeply connected with the Chiot-Genoese aristocracy and the wider Greek diaspora.

Standing in Constantinople, where so many of these historic networks once flourished, this gesture carries a special meaning. It is a small contribution to the preservation of memory, heritage, and the enduring connection between Chios and the City.
